Another undesirable effect of hair implantation that is
quite rare, as seen in our hair skill clinic (less than 0.2% of patients) may
contain the formation of local inflammation of new follicles during the first
or second postoperative week. This is the so-called bursitis of the hair. Possible
undesirable effects, or immediate effects, presented after hair transplantation
are often preventable and can be avoided by good selection of candidates, appropriate
medications (when there are cases of such as diabetes and
case of people who cannot take local anesthesia safely).
For example, if we
have a patient who suffers from an acute myocardial infarction should postpone
the surgical operation under safe conditions. It is also possible that, in such
cases, the patient's body must be configured with the appropriate medication. In
the case of diabetes, it should receive a wide range of antibiotics so as not
to have the undesirable effects already mentioned.
The long term side effects of a hair transplant is non hair
regrowth, which is due to technical factors, lack of experience from the
transplant team, the doctor and poor maintenance of the hair follicles and the
inappropriate place. Another observed adverse effect seen especially in the
case of the fut or strip method is the formation of a permanent scar in the
donor region that may be visible when the patient is very flush or can be
formed under pain or hypoesthesia in the area.
